To a writer, reviews are gold. Honest, objective reviews help readers wade through the millions of titles out there to find a book that will more than likely satisfy their own personal cravings for a good story.
A great cover catches the reader’s eye. A well-written back cover blurb or synopsis helps narrow the field. But today more than ever–with so much online shopping for books–it’s reader reviews that help many prospective buyers make their final choices.
I’m also delighted that so many of you are enjoying the story. To date, all of the fourteen reviews the novel has received on Amazon have been five-star reviews. And on goodreads, sixteen out of the seventeen ratings have been five-star ratings, with the remaining rating being a four-star rating.
There’s little point in writing a story if it’s not one that readers can relate to and lose themselves in for a while. It’s gratifying to me to know that plenty of readers are finding Strong Convictions to be a gripping and satisfying read.
To those of you who have left reader reviews, many thanks for sharing your thoughts about the book and for doing so in a way that can help other readers determine whether Strong Convictions is a book for them. I’m indebted to you.
If you’ve read Strong Convictions and haven’t yet left a review on Amazon.com or goodreads.com, even a two-or three-sentence comment would go a long way toward helping readers find this book within the vast ocean of available reads. Many thanks!
Now I’m off to work on the sequel.
